World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc. (WWE) is an integrated media and entertainment company principally engaged in the development, production and marketing of television and pay-per-view event programming and live events, and the licensing and sale of consumer products featuring its World Wrestling Entertainment brands. Its operations are organized around four principal activities: live and televised entertainment, which consists of live events, the sale of merchandise at live events, television, pay-per-view, and video on demand programming; consumer products, which consists of the sale of home video products, magazines and consumer products branded with its intellectual property, including video games, toys, books and other products through third party licensees; digital media, which consists of advertising sales on the Company's Websites, sale of merchandise on its Website through its WWEShop Internet storefront and various broadband and mobile services, and WWE films, which produces feature films and other film projects. In addition, WWE is in the process of re-launching Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW) as a third brand.

WWE's two brands, Raw and SmackDown, tour independently, each typically producing three or four events per week. During the year ended December 31, 2006, it held 212 live events throughout North America, entertaining over one million fans. The Company holds many of its live events at major arenas across the country, including Madison Square Garden in New York, and the Staples Center in Los Angeles. In addition to providing the content for its television and pay-per-view programming, these events provide the Company with a real-time assessment of its storylines and characters.
